American Scientists and Theologians' Shared Concern
In January 2009, leading American scientists and theologians met in Thomasville, Georgia. One of the attending scientists, James Gustave Speth, dean at Yale and author of Red Sky at Morning and the recently published The Bridge at the Edge of the World, two of the most important environmental books ever written, issued an interesting report on this meeting.
