A Looming Environmental Disaster!
The Town of Fort Erie is processing a proposal to develop a Canadian Motor Sports Speedway complex on an 821 acre site southwest of the Bowen Road and QEW interchange.
The Bert Miller Nature Club board, based on concerns presented to us by residents, has conducted research on the implications of this development for Fort Erie. As a result of our findings and in keeping with the Club’s constitutional objectives, the board strongly opposes this development because of the severe environmental and social degradation it will cause.
