Directions to our meeting location
The Bert Miller Nature Club is located in the town of Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada on the Niagara Peninsula. The Niagara Peninsula is part of the Great Lakes watershed. The Niagara Peninsula is bounded by Lake Erie to the south, the Niagara River to the east and Lake Ontario to the north. With the construction of the Welland Canal, joining Lake Erie to Lake Ontario, the peninsula is now a man-made island. Fort Erie is located where Lake Erie flows into Niagara River. We are directly across the river and the Canada - United States border, from Buffalo, New York.
The Club meets at the Fort Erie Conservation Club in the Stevensville area of Fort Erie.
The conservation club is at the end of West Main Street, where it meets Ott Road. Don't let the sign confuse you. And don't ask why this sign says Stevensville Conservation Area and why the Fort Erie Conservation Club building is located here - it's just one of those confusing things. Just continue through the gates and a little further down the road until you get here...
